Proposed SEND Unit Consultation

For the last year, we have been working closely with Blackburn with Darwen Local Authority to draw up plans for a proposed Specialist Inclusion Base on the site of the old John Smethurst Building.

As part of the process, we need to consult with the local community.

The consultation opens on Friday 8th May 2026 and closes on Friday 12th June 2026. Please read the information below and engage with the consultation as we really do want to hear your views.
