Admissions

New Reception Intake

Children are admitted to school in September of the school year when they will be five. The standard number for new entrants is 60.

Please note, that all the school admissions are processed through the Local Authority. Parents should contact Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's Children's Services.

In Year Admissions

Applications for each year group are considered by the Local Authority. If you wish for your child to attend St James' an application should be submitted to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's Children's Services.

Parents are invited to ring the school office (01254 698335) and make an appointment with Mrs. Rehman, the School Pastoral Leader, to visit the school prior to admission.
