St James' C of E Primary School, Blackburn

Remote Learning Information

At St James', we are proud of our blended approach to remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic. We use a combination of Microsoft Teams for the provision of 'live' lessons, the Government endorsed Oak Academy and a variety of quality resources to ensure we continue to provide the best possible education for our children.

Our named person responsible for Remote Learning is Ms V. Moore who liaises closely with the staff and ensures that we follow best practices.

We believe that, whilst it is important to keep education as normal as possible, these are not normal times and as a result, we encourage engagement but understand fully if your own circumstances make full engagement difficult from time to time.

If you have any concerns with the quality of our remote learning provision, please contact Ms Moore via the school office in the first instance.
